Born in Arroios, Lisbon, 1953-08-02 06:00, Sunday. Early years in a city full of light and transformation.
1969 · Medical school fascination
At 16, entered the Faculty of Medicine in Lisbon. After six months, left fascinated by DNA & RNA discoveries — the early sparks of structural logic.
1970s · Stock exchange intensity
Worked at a brokerage firm on the Lisbon stock exchange. "Wow, what a life! The work was intense, but the money came in fast and easy."
1974 · The Carnation Revolution
April 25, 1974 — unemployed after communists shut down the Lisbon stock exchange. A turning point.
1975 · Start at CGD
Joined CGD (Caixa Geral de Depósitos) from the bottom, level 3 or 4. Worked on State accounts before discovering the IT revolution.
1978 · Organization & IT department
We were 12 candidates and we entered. The gateway to Business Science and IBM mainframes — a lifelong passion.
1984 · DB2 Mainframe development
Dedicated exclusively to application development for Db2 Mainframe databases. Mastered machine language, Assembler, COBOL, ISPF, PROLOG.
1990s · VSAM to DB2 migration
Led the structural migration wave. Tackled the Year 2000 challenge with date representation in Data Sets.
1999 · Illness & retirement
After a change in directors and restructuring, became seriously ill and retired. But curiosity never retired.
2010–2020 · Internet & PC resurgence
Kept pace with information technologies, building homelab experiments and revisiting systems thinking.
Aug 2022 · Prompt engineering
Took several courses in prompt engineering — became fluent with LLMs. "Indispensable tools for development and knowledge acquisition."

Published "Last insight of the year," exploring the shift away from the model of Einstein spacetime—which Alfred North Whitehead disagreed with—and addressing how in circa 1970 the monist approach was proved by QFT, showing that what we name a "particle" (a billiard ball) is a user-interface construct rather than an ontological entity.

2026 January · Foundational Physics & Zenodo Framework
In 2026 I proceed my formation in physics, biology, and computer science, dedicating about fourteen hours per day. This is not a return to school but a deepening of the work I began with AI workflow management and content engineering.
Until 23 January I developed a personal theoretical framework that questions where mainstream physics assumes rather than proves. For that framework I have designed a set of stress tests, detailed in a Zenodo paper. I have designed six stress tests: derivation, asymmetry, quantization, binding, effectiveness. From the 2 inial matrices about thew standard model and the Mendeleev table, another 14 matrices where generated in sequence.
They map lots of things: Dark Matter, Quantum Teleportation, Consciousness, Cognitive mapping thru vectorization. Ideas for further development. Or not, If I decide later.
2026 March, April· Perceptual Limits Book & Static Deployment
I am writing a book about mainstream assumptions, perceptual limits, and wave function collapse. The book has lots of equations, all that is mainstream accepted. It walks through each assumption — objectivity, locality, separability — and then maps the limits of human perception. The final third treats collapse not as a problem to solve but as a residue of description. This work remains within the private domain for commercialization.

This deployment delivers enhanced precision through one unique variable: Hz, acting as a unification unit for all domain knowledge across Substack, Medium, and active central repositories.

I am also developing a custom LLM from first principles, one that aims to be useful. Useful means it reads my arXiv pipeline output, highlights structural gaps in my framework, and helps rewrite the book’s arguments against their own weaknesses. It is built token by token, not fine‑tuned from anyone else's weights. This work is proprietary, developed for commercialization, and is not in the public domain.

The measurement problem is not merely a technical complication in quantum mechanics; it is the fundamental threshold where human observation encounters the limits of classical description. It represents the persistent tension between the unitary, deterministic evolution of the wave function and the singular, definite reality we perceive upon observation.
This new series initiates a rigorous exploration of this transition, moving beyond the superficial "billiard ball" interpretations that characterize mainstream discourse. We will examine why the collapse of the wave function serves as a crucial residue of our descriptive framework rather than a physical process to be "solved." By mapping the boundaries of objectivity, locality, and separability, we aim to recontextualize measurement as a consequence of our perceptual architecture.
